Aramean people: Aramean people (not to be confused with ‘Armenians’) speak Aramaic, the language spoken by Abraham, Moses and Jesus. They are the indigenous people of what was called in ancient times Aram- Nahrin, in our days it is called ‘Mesopotamia’. Some Arameans today identify themselves with “Assyrians”, because of the spiritual colonial hate generating activities of the Western missionaries and diplomats in the Middle-East in 16th and 19th centuries. Other Arameans became known as “Chaldeans”. However all of them are Arameans. On 10th of May 2010 the West-Aramean Syrian Catholic Sandy Shabib Hadi Zahra was buried in Baghdeda- Qarahosh, a Aramean village in northern Iraq.
After the service, Sandy was carried to her last resting- place by family, friends and clergy.

Even if the Islamic terrorists are responsible for these particular attacks, the main responsible for the killings and ethnic cleansing of the Aramean people in Iraq are the apostate Arameans who call themselves “Assyrians” and are involved, amongst others with terrorism, hatred, history distortions, manipulations, smear campaigns, lies, fallacies and more of these unholy practices. Below we will explain what we mean:
In the build-up to the American invasion of 2003 in Iraq, Mr. George Bush gave various talks in which he demonstrated his “sympathy” with the persecuted and oppressed Iraqi people by Saddam Hussein. Mr. Bush and some members of his administration in their speeches made reference to “Assyrians” to explain the mosaic of Iraqi people. The apostate Arameans who call themselves “Assyrians” – the product of colonialism, hatred and annihilation, went into ecstasies and declared Mr. Bush a Saint. On their websites, forums and everywhere possible the apostate Arameans who call themselves “Assyrians” expressed their gratefulness to Mr. Bush that he had not forgotten them and exalted him into the heaven. Thereby they invited Mr. Bush to please invade Iraq to liberate them from the “cruel, ruthless” dictator Saddam Hussein.
When Mr. Bush invaded Iraq, these immoral and criminal bandits increased their severe propaganda and wanted to clean their “Assyria” of the Kurds, the Arabs, the Sunni and others. Because, as they reasoned, Iraq only belonged to “Assyrians”. This abominable, odious and objectionable fanaticism resulted in the present situation in which our people in Iraq find themselves. What should happen is actually this: All these Mafiosi should be rounded up and put in jail and there they will have all the time to think about their “Assyria”. A bunch of foolish imbeciles who have no slightest idea about their objectionable and tasteless behaviour!
Really, it has nothing to with the fanatical forces in Iraq. There is for example also a Coptic Orthodox minority in Iraq. Why don’t we hear any problems about them? Why don't we hear that a Coptic church has been attacked? Why don't we hear that a Coptic clergy has been targeted?
For this reason, it has everything to do with the horrendous and objectionable propaganda of the fanatical apostate Arameans who present themselves as “Assyrians”, the ultimate product of colonialism, hatred and division. They have created enmity via their websites, forums and other media towards our people in Iraq. And all their unholy activities were followed by various groups in Iraq. And the bitter fruits are now being harvested by our people, including the death of Sandy Shabib Hadi Zahra.
Not only Mr. Bush, but also some groups within the Western Christianity (Evangelical/ Baptist) completely denied the existence of Arameans of Iraq and glorified the colonial product “Assyrians”, created by their forefathers, into the prominence with far-reaching consequences to our nation in Iraq.
The Western Christianity has achieved and promoted extremely good Christian values such as charity, education, medical care, spreading of the gospel and other here not mentioned commendable holy deeds of Christian charity. Everywhere where they brought the gospel, it resulted in politeness, dignity, respect, love, development and progress. The simple message of the Bible was brought in practice by Word and Deeds. As regards the Aramean Christianity, they can learn a lot from the Western Christianity. If the Aramean Christianity for a small part would have carried out the message of Christ, the entire Middle-East would have been Christianized and remained Aramean and we would not have had the present-day problems. In addition our nation would not have become refuge at other mans doors.
There is however also another form of Western Christianity which always have been active. Parallel to the pure, devoted, honest, reliable, worthy and holy Western Christianity there always existed a fake and very dangerous Western Christianity which brought spiritual death, destruction and made havoc everywhere where they came. They made themselves guilty of terrible form of blackmail, bribery, hatred, division and cultural extermination of many peoples. They incited daughter against mother, son against father, family against family, village against village, resulting in unimaginable and unbridgeable hatred they planted in the minds of the unfortunate nations who became their victims. And all this has been done in the name of “Jesus”. And today we clearly see the result of these unholy activities they carried out within the Aramean nation in the past in Iraq.
Unfortunately this is not being discerned by many, even not by noble and pure Western Christians who are the true faithful of Christ Jesus. And this is very serious! 3. Enclave in the north of Iraq
After the apostate Arameans who call themselves “Assyrians” had declared Mr. Bush a Saint and glorified and exalted him into the heavens, they had to do yet one thing more to invite the fanatical forces in Iraq to attack, kill and expel our people out of Iraq and that was: to call for a independent enclave in the north of Iraq to provoke the evil forces.
And yes indeed, they started everywhere to scream from the housetops (including AINA of course), making a lot of noise, contacting some politicians and journalists, including some politicians of the European Parliament, that they wanted an independent enclave in the north of Iraq. They made their noise and screaming heard in the US, EU, UK, Australia, Netherlands, on their websites, via letters and every possible place to demand for independent enclave in northern Iraq.
In the Netherlands for example in particular a PKK/GHB/ADO terrorist was responsible for publications of articles in the newspaper “Trouw”, “NRC handeslblad”, “nederlands Dagblad” and “Reformatorische Dagblad”.
Such dangerous and irresponsible activities are nothing but invitation to the various groups in Iraq to attack, kill and expel our people out of Iraq! And indeed since 2004 the attacks continue undiminished and stay assured they will continue until someone stops these criminal Mafiosi with their activities of hatred, lies, fallacies and distortions.
For example, on 9th of august 2008 a article was published on the website of asianews.it entitled “Islamic fundamentalists: "expel Christians from Mosul”. We read in the article, ““According to some witnesses, before shooting the terrorists accused the Christians of "wanting to create an enclave in Nineveh," (http://www.aramnahrin.org/English/Media_Reports_Arameans_Mosul.htm)
This problem was known for a long time. And some Aramean clergy have clearly warned about this danger! However the apostate Arameans who call themselves “Assyrians” don’t care about this, because the more killings and slaughtering of our people in Iraq, the more happy they are, so that they can use it for their propaganda! They will bombard the western journalist and politicians with requests to please do something for the “Assyrians” of Iraq. And if a journalist or a politician takes the word “Assyrians of Iraq” in their mouth, the apostate Arameans who call themselves “Assyrians” have achieved their goal.
They totally do not care how many people are killed, expelled or persecuted! What counts to these immoral bandits is: how to achieve their goal to glorify the name “Assyrians”. That is all about and nothing else. For them everything is allowed to achieve this goal.
