Aramean people: Aramean people (not to be confused with ‘Armenians’) speak Aramaic, the language spoken by Abraham, Moses and Jesus. They are the indigenous people of what was called in ancient times Aram- Nahrin, in our days it is called ‘Mesopotamia’.

Some Arameans today identify themselves with “Assyrians”, because of the spiritual colonial hate generating activities of the Western missionaries and diplomats in the Middle-East in 16th and 19th centuries. Other Arameans became known as “Chaldeans”. However all of them are Arameans. In Turkey, the Arameans are called: Süryani. In Arabic they are called Al- Suryan.

1. Introduction

In a 2007 interview with the chairman of the Aram-Naharaim Organization, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shamsaddin Megalomammatis wrote the following about devastating activities of the colonial powers among the Aramean people:

The Aramaeans have been victims of hate generating acts, and unprecedented partiality from the part of the French and the British who are the representatives of a false, impostor Jesus.

Embodiment of the divisive deeds and practices of the Catholic and the Anglicans missionaries among the Aramaeans is the gradual and lethal Western academic, educational and cultural infiltration among the Aramaeans, and the diffusion of false identities, namely ‘Chaldaean’ and ‘Assyrian’ for parts of the Aramaean nation.

Obliterating through bribery and blackmail one nation’s identity is a most criminal deed, and Mr. Sengo is quite justified to deliberately call it ‘Spiritual Genocide’.

You can see the result of these crimes against the Aramean people below.

On December 7, 1998, an interview with Ferman Aslan (alias: George Aryo) was published by the online magazine Zenda (Volume IV, Issue 31). In the article, the interviewee is referred to asGeorge Aryo” (see below)

The interviewer on behalf of Zenda was Metin Tunc (alias: Matay beth Arsan, Matay Arboyo, Matay Ashuroyo, Matay A. A. Arsan etc..). Metin Tunc is the brother of George Aryo's wife as well as the brother of Attiya Tunc (alias: Attiya Gamri, Attiya beth Arsan, etc.) and Ibrahim Tunc (alias: Abrohom Tunc, Abrohom beth Arsan, Abraham Gamri, etc.).

George Aryo is not his real name. His real name was Circis Aslan. He changed his first name 'Circis' to Ferman. In the media, he uses his fake name: George Aryo.

Mr. Aslan is a renegade Aramean who calls himself an 'Assyrian' and denies his Aramean origin, fighting it with fire and sword like other Arameans who have made an unholy alliance with the Kurds (here and here).

Our experience with the renegade Arameans who call themselves 'Assyrians' is that they use a range of techniques, such as lying, cheating, falsifying, manipulating, etc., to achieve their goal, which is to 'Assyrianize' the Aramean nation. They seem to have some very special flexible 'ethics' or 'moral standards'

Can we clarify this unholy technology/mentality/ethics a bit to our beloved reader? Yes, we can.

“Assyrian” scammers at the United Nations

A telegram found in the achieves of United Nations form 1924 in which they warn on the lies and fallacies of the apostate Arameans who call themselves “Assyrians”.

The telegram reads:

Assyro Chaldean delegation having left Geneva two crooks Zacharia Isaac & simon Nicholos are forging documents to deceive foreign diplomats- prince Cambar villa Louis

Leon Mazargues Marseille

Lying, cheating, manipulating and falsification has always been the trademark of the apostate Arameans who call themselves “Assyrians”. Clergy as well as laity make themselves guilty of this unholy behavior.

From a spiritual perspective, there is something else worth noting about the extreme demonic war waged by all the apostate Arameanswho call themselves "Assyrians"against everything that is Aramaic or Aramean. We are firmly convinced that this unprecedented, fierce hatred and rejection of their Aramean origins cannot be understood through secular, relative, (materialistic) analysis, logic, and reason.

We can only understand this appalling blind hatred and rejection if we assume that this involves a very severe form of demonic activity to which all the apostate Arameans who call themselvesAssyrians have blindly opened themselves up. This then comes very close to the warning in 2 Thessalonians 2:1011, where we read:

10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness

2. Deep involvement with PKK

Within the Kurdish PKK movement, Mr. Aslan holds an important position, probably just as important as Numan Ogur/Ugur/Shabo (here and here).

We don't know if Mr. Aslan played a role, alongside Numan Ogur/Ugur/Shabo, in the monstrous alliance (here and here) between the PKK and the renegade Arameans who call themselves "Assyrians" in 1993. We strongly suspect so. We are going to try to explain it below to our beloved reader.

Ferman/Circis Aslan was one of the founders of the PKK parliament in exile, founded in 1995 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Since then, Mr. Aslan has been a member of the PKK parliament several times. He doesn’t hide his love for the PKK.

Presumably, Ferman Aslan introduced his wife's brothers (Ibrahim Tunc (Abrohom/Arohom beth Arsan, Abrohom Tunc, Abrohom Gamri enz..), Metin Tunc (Matay, Matay Arboyo, Ashuroyo, Matay Ashuroyo, Matay beth Arsan, Matay Arsan enz..)) and sister Attiya Tunc (Attiya beth Arsan, Attiya Gamri enz..) to a passionate 'Assyrianism' and 'love' for the PKK/Kurds.

From left to right: Numan Ugur/ Ogur/ Shabo, Yahkub Rohyo, Ozcan Kaldoyo and Ferman/ Circis Aslan (alias: George Aryo)

On May 14, 2005, the PKK-affiliated channel Roj TV aired an episode of the program hosted by Ozcan Kaldayo and Yahkub Rohyo, titledQolo Hiro.” The guests on the program were two very prominent “Christian” figures within the PKK, namely Numan Ugur/Ogur/Shabo and Ferman/Circis Aslan. The topic of discussion was a meeting between GHB/MUB/Suroyo TV and Turkey.

All four men are ardent supporters of the unholy alliance formed with the PKK in 1993 with the aim ofAssyrianizing the Aramean people through PKK media.

Ferman/Circis Aslan recounts his 2004 trip to the PKK’s headquarters in Iraq, located in the Kandil Mountains near the border with Iran. (audio clip)

Ferman/ Circis Aslan:  Last year (2004), when I went to the countryside,

Yahkub Rohyo: Did you go to Iraq?

Ferman/ Circis Aslan: Yes, to Iraq, when we went to the mountains

Yahkub Rohyo: You can't go to Turkey either, right?

Ferman/ Circis Aslan: I'll come back to that. Do you know what one of the PKK board members said? He said: “We didn't know that they (SuroyoTV/GHB/MUB) had met with the country (Turkey).

The phrasewhen we went to the mountains refers here to the Kandil Mountains, the PKK’s stronghold in northern Iraq, on the border with Iran.

A few comments on this:

1) As a key figure in the PKK, we can assume that Mr. Aslan traveled to the Kandil Mountains on several occasions to receive orders from PKK.

2) What was the purpose of his visit to the Kandil Mountains? To have a picnic with the PKK and catch up?

3) Or was the purpose of Mr. Aslan’s trip to assess the progress of the monstrous alliance with the PKK, formed in 1993? What is the status of the agreements reached? What can we improve? What is the current state of the Aramean people’s resistance? What is the status of the “Assyrianization” of the Aramean people? Which strategies of this collaboration need to be adjusted?

4) As mentioned, we do not know whether Fermano/Circiso Aslan (George Aryo) was directly involved on the ground in the formation of the monstrous alliance with the PKK in 1993, together with Numan Ugur/Ogur/Shabo. On the other hand, given his high-ranking position within the PKK, we cannot imagine that the monstrous alliance with the PKK was formed without his approval, support, guidance, or knowledge.

We believe that Ferman Aslan indoctrinated his wife’s brothers (Ibrahim Tunc, Metin Tunc) and sister (Attiya Tunc) into fervent “Assyrianism” and “love” for the PKK/Kurds.

In 2005, Mr. Aslan complained that he had not been able to travel to Turkey for 21 years due to political reasons (audio quote).

He says:

Ferman/ Circis Aslan: You know what? I’ll tell you that I haven’t been able to go to Turkey for 21 years. But is it that I don’t want to go (to Turkey)? I’d really love to. But I can’t go. I don’t have the meansI do have the means to make the trip, though. But there’s something preventing me from going there, and that’s politics.

Political reasons? What kind of political reasons, Farmano/Circiso Aslan? Could it be because you were so deeply involved with the PKK? One thing we know for sure, Mr. Aslan, and that is this: Turkey has declared you a persona non grata for a reasonread that again: for a reason!

Not only have you, together with your friends, committed severe cultural and spiritual genocide (here and here) against the Aramean nationwith the help of PKKthrough your frenziedAssyrianization activities, but your support for the PKK has also infuriated Turkey.

Perhaps the Turks read newspapers and know that in 1995 you were the founder of the PKK Parliament in exile.

How strange, Mr. Aslan, that the Turks are so “unfair and undemocratic” that they violate your rights. It’s quite something, isn't it?

In the 1998 issue of the online magazine Zenda, Mr. Aslan comments on the sweet fruits of the monstrous alliance with the PKK and the PKK parliament, saying:

"Many countries did not even know that Assyrians still exist! We have visited Russia, Europe, the Middle East, the Caucasian countries, and South Africa.  And wherever this parliament was the Assyrian question was discussed also! This is a great accomplishment for our people. When there is no voice for our people, especially from the homeland, then this work will not be permanent . From every corner and region our voices must heard- loudly."

Exactly, Mr. Aslan, that was also the main reason for the monstrous alliance with the PKK: namely, toAssyrianize the Aramean nation.

That so much misery has been caused as a result of the monstrous alliance with the PKK, that the lives of so many young men and women have been destroyed in the Kandil Mountains, that unprecedented hatred and division have been sown among the Aramean nation, that families have been torn apart, and that young people have been pitted against their parentswell, it’s all worth it, because it’s for our beloved “Assyria,” isn’t that right, Fermano/Circiso Aslan?

3. The story of Ishak Akyuz

The story of Ishak Akyuz

He was recruited and brainwashed by the PKK/GHB/ ADO/MUB Assyrians terrorists. He went to the terrorist camps in Kandil mountains (northern Iraq) to be trained as guerrilla against Turkey. Many Arameans who call themselves “Assyrians” have been deceived by the Assyrian terrorist. Their life has been utterly ruined!

4. Fermano/Circiso Aslan in the Turkish Parliament

Fermano/Circiso Aslan in the Turkish Parliament: What did he agree to with Turkey, after so many years, in order to be allowed to enter the country?

The PKK and Abdullah Öcalan have rewarded Mr. Aslan for hislove for the PKK and appointed him as a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey in 2023 on behalf of the Kurdish People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The question, dear reader, is: What did Fermano/Circiso Aslan agree to with Turkey in order to be allowed to enter the countryafter so many years of being unwelcomeand take a seat in parliament on behalf of the Kurds? What is the PKK’s goal in placing Mr. Aslan in the Turkish parliament? Is it to make him look good in the eyes of the blind and hard-of-hearing population so that they will welcome him as a hero into their church halls?

In the Tur Abdin region, corruption is a daily occurrence among government agencies. Need a signature from the city hall? You have to pay for it. Want to register a child? You have to pay. You have to pay for everything.

So what has happened, dear reader, since Fermano/Circiso Aslan was appointed to the Turkish parliament in 2023? It seems that if you go to government agencies now and have Fermano/Circiso Aslan with you, you no longer have to pay any money, and things get taken care of quickly for you.

If this is true, then it will make Ferman/Circis Aslan look good in the eyes of the people, and they will very quickly forget everything he has done to the Aramean people.

5. Zenda online magazine interview"

Introduction to the interview by Zenda magazine

In 1920 the new Turkish Parliament founded by Kemal Ataturk promised equal rights and representation for the Kurdish population in Turkey. Thirty Kurds were elected in the Turkiye Buyuk Millet Meclisi.  Not long after the establishment of the Turkish Parliament, a few of the Kurdish representatives were arrested, imprisoned and even assassinated.  The remaining group escaped from Turkey.  The wrath of Kemal Ataturk also affected the Christian minorities of Turkey ,as under his leadership, an estimated one and half million Assyrians (Arameans) and Armenians were massacred.

In 1991 the Kurds joined the general elections in Turkey and were represented by the so-called "Democratic Party ( DeP)". Twenty one DeP representatives were elected to the Turkish Parliament. During the inauguration ceremonies, however,  two Kurdish parliamentarians, Leyla Zana and Hatib Dicle, shouted "Long live the brotherhood of nations”.  Immediately upon hearing this a few Turkish Parliamentarians attacked their the two female Kurdish Parliamentarians and pushed them off the stage.  Afterwards, the Kurdish Parliamentarians'  incessant efforts to bring the Kurdish Question to the public attention ended when the High Court of Turkey banned the DeP and  removed the Kurdish Parliamentarians from office. One Parliamentarian, Mehmed Sincar, was killed by the Turkish counter-guerilla forces.  Leyla Zana and four others were arrested and sentenced to 15 years in prison.  Five others and a sympathetic Turkish mayor were able to flee the country before their arrest.

Together with other Kurdish intellectuals and activists in Europe (PKK and CKP) the five former Kurdish parliamentarians have now founded the Parliament of Kurdistan in Exile.  During their initial discussions the founders agreed that the peoples of “Kurdistan”  include not only the Kurds, but the Assyrians (and Yezidis) also.  They approached the Assyrian organizations, federations and individuals of which only the Assyrian Federation in Holland presented Mr. George Aryo as an Assyrian representative to the Kurdish Parliament in Exile.

Interview with Circis/ Ferman Aslan by Matay A.A. Arsan on behalf of Zenda

The following is an interview conducted by ZENDA's correspondent in Amsterdam, Mr. Matay A. A. Arsan, with Mr. George Aryo of the Assyrian Federation of Holland:

ZENDA:  Which Assyrian organizations were approached regarding the establishment of the Parliament of Kurdistan in Exile and how many Assyrians nominated themselves for the first election?

Aryo:  Several Assyrian organizations in Europe were contacted before the elections and we discussed the whole issue.  The Assyrian Democratic Organization (ADO or Mtakasta), which has the greatest influence in the Assyrian cultural organizations in Europe was positive in the beginning but surprisingly negative in the later stages of our discussions.   It advised its members and sympathizers against sending a representation.

Well, finally four Assyrians, including myself, nominated themselves and were elected.   The other three were:

  • Petros Karatay (The Assyrian-Chaldean Federation of France)

  • Yilmaz Ozgun (The Revolutionary Patriotic Organization of Beth-Nahrin)

  • Musa Caklo (The Revolutionary Patriotic Organization of Beth-Nahrin)

The RPoBN members used to call themselves the Revolutionary Assyrians-Suryoye.

ZENDA: What were ADO's reasons not to participate?

Aryo: Well, they couldn't convince us with any rational political arguments and they told us that the Kurds are evil and Assyrians cannot work with them. This, I think, is more a village-mentality than a rational opinion.

ZENDA: Do you personally believe that this was ADO's true reason for not participating?

Aryo: No, I don't think so. I think they did not have faith in themselves and that they were not convinced of their capability to discuss our national question with other nations. I think this was the true reason behind it.

ZENDA:  Are you not concern that the Kurds are taking advantage of your presence in this Parliament as did the Turks in 1920?

Aryo: First, let me make this clear: we are talking about the Kurds of Turkey and not about those in Iraq. In the past the Kurds of Turkey did not govern themselves, rather were governed by others through religion. They did not have a national ideology. Today they have both a Kurdish leadership and their own national ideology. They are open-minded about other nationalities and especially to the Assyrians for the simple reason that we live in the same area.  Of course, not all Kurds of Turkey think in the same way! There are at least 50 thousand Kurds led by the Aghas who are the landlords paid and financed by the Turkish authorities.   They fight against their own people, their own freedom fighters, against their own struggle for independence! To return to your question of whether the Kurds will abuse our presence in this parliament for their own benefit, I wish to remind you of the words of Winston Churchill : "Britain has no everlasting friends, but everlasting interests!"  It is true that in politics there are no friendships, only national interests.  Whether we are in this parliament or not, the Kurds would have established it.  We say that we are a nation and that we are the true "owners" of Beth-Nahrin.  In the Parliament of Kurdistan in Exile, we discuss and decide about the future of this land with western- and non-western governments and organizations.  Our participation benefits the "Assyrian Cause", as we did not blindly become involved.   We had our demands as such:  The Assyrian people must have the same rights and privileges offered through participation in this parliament as the Kurdish people have in their cultural, linguistic, and media (radio and television).  This parliament has great authority over such things as  the Med-TV (the largest Kurdish television broadcast via satellite in Europe). We have our own Assyrian programs, produced by Assyrians and spoken in our own Assyrian language.  The national days such as Kha b'Neesan are celebrated together with the Kurdish celebration of "Nowrooz". The August 7- Assyrian Martyrs' Day-  must now be officially recognized. One of the most important demands was this: whenever and wherever this parliament communicates with other governments and organization,  not only the Kurdish question but the Assyrian Question must be discussed as well!  So far our demands have been met.

Many countries did not even know that Assyrians still exist! We have visited Russia, Europe, the Middle East, the Caucasian countries, and South Africa.  And wherever this parliament was the Assyrian question was discussed also! This is a great accomplishment for our people. When there is no voice for our people, especially from the homeland, then this work will not be permanent . From every corner and region our voices must heard- loudly.

ZENDA:  There was a second Parliamentary election. What happened?

Aryo: More Assyrians were elected. We are stronger and we are a unanimous voice. The new elected officers are:

  • Yaqub Bar-Sawmo (The Revolutionary Patriotic Organization of Beth-Nahrin)

  • Fikri Aho (The Revolutionary Patriotic Organization of Beth-Nahrin)

  • Petros karatay (The Assyrian-Chaldean Federation in France)

  • Ozcan Kaldoyo (Independent)

  • Myself, George Aryo (Assyrian Federation in Holland)

ZENDA:  How much  influence does PKK exert in this parliament?

Aryo:  PKK is the biggest force in this parliament with the largest number of representatives- twelve in all.  They do much of the work and so far they have shown a great concern for our people.

ZENDA:  For most Assyrians, particularly those living in the USA and Australia,  the PKK and Barzani are considered "murderers of our people”.  Can you comment on this?

Aryo: The information that reaches our people in the USA and Australia is often one-side and subjective. Because of the distance our communication is poor, and in many cases, we do not reach each other at all.  From the beginning PKK has thought of our people as an oppressed people and the oldest inhabitants of Beth-Nahrin. PKK believes that our people must receive as much attention as that of the Kurdish people.

The PKK has never been hurt by our people and therefore it considers us more as a friend then as an enemy.  But what Turkey and Barzani want from our people is that we stand up with weapons and fight against the PKK. They want us to take up arms against the PKK and prevent them from coming to our villages. Our people prefer to stay neutral  and refuse to fight against the PKK and do not listen to either Turkey and Barzani.  The Turkish government and Barzani started their dirty games and politics by killing innocent Assyrians and destroying buildings, and blaming the PKK. This is how the PKK operates: they kill somebody or act on something and then immediately claim responsibility for their action in a press release.

Our people in the USA and Australia receive their information from the Assyrian Democratic Movement (ADM or "Zowaa”).  ADM operates and lives in the area controlled by Barzani, who in turn maintains a close relationship with Turkey.  Zowaa is forced to spread this kind of wrong information.  This is wrong.  Zowaa is a political organization for the entire Assyrian nation! And it should refuse any such cooperation.

Maybe some will think  I am anti-Zowaa or they might think I am a follower of PKK.  This is absolutaly not true. Above everything, I am Assyrian! And the Assyrian National Question is for me holier than everything else!  I know Zowaa and its leaders well.  They too know me personally. I have helped Zowaa in the past  and I will still help Zowaa because of the simple fact that they are active in our homeland.  But Zowaa must have a policy for our nation and must recognize the friends and the true enemies of our people.  My view of the PKK will be the same as their view of my people!  I will be as open-minded and understanding towards them as they are towards my people.

Many more Kurds live in northern-Mesopotamia/Assyria  than Assyrians. We must be able to work together. Many nations were enemies in the past.  Today they work together. Look at the European countries and think back to fifty years ago. I have this to say to our people and the Assyrian organizations in the USA and Australia: We must be long-term thinkers. We must realize that the Kurds have been in Assyria/North-Mesopotamia for over 100 years too. If we want to live there in Assyria/Mesopotamia then we must begin to establish communication with them and have our demands. I cannot imagine how will can return and live there without any contact and communication with the Kurds unless we build a wall around ourselves.

ZENDA:   As you may have noticed our people have a negative view of the term "Kurdistan" in reference to northern Bet-Nahrain.  How do you feel about this?

Aryo:  I think that is a narrow way of viewing the situation. Kurdistan exists!  Can we say that Erzurum and Sivas are Kurdistan, but Nineveh is not!  If we handle this case in an organized way, then we can  call it Assyria!  By the way, the Kurds are not so hard-headed when it comes to the name “Kurdistan”.  More and more are beginning to use the term "Mesopotamia”.

We must face the fact that 95% of the inhabitants of North-Mesopotamia/Assyria are Kurdish!  When we do not do anything about our Cause, then they can name it whatever they want. We should not blame the Kurds for calling that land “Kurdistan”.  We have not stood up for "Assyria!"  The young Kurdish girls, boys, men and women return back from their comfortable western life, from Australia, Europe, and elsewhere,  to go and fight for Kurdistan.  Our people just stay in their homes in Chicago, Stockholm, Sydney, and Paris and shout: "Assyria or Beth-Nahrin/Mesoptamia is ours!"

ZENDA:  What do you think about our magazine?

Aryo:  I am very glad that ZENDA is an independent, progressive and an open-minded Assyrian magazine.  It is good that it reaches many non-Assyrians through the Internet all over the world. But what pleases me more is that although many of our people are in body and mind far away from our national question, there still are Assyrians, like the staff of Zenda, who still have that fire of true patriotism. My deepest respect and thanks go to you.  I hope that you continue to walk on this sacred path of Assyrian nationalism. Shlome and iqore (regards and respects) to all your readers.  Fushun bashlomo o b h’ubo d–Athro.
